Join the Teacher Store for Storey Hour on Thursday, November 14, from 4:30-6:30pm at Storey Kenworthy Office Interiors and Products, 1495 Boyson Road in Hiawatha. Co-hosted by Storey Kenworthy and Hon Industries, Storey Hour is a great time to use your Teacher Bucks to get supplies from the Teacher Store, feast on some tasty treats, and mingle with other area K-12 educators. (Sounds like a fun happy hour or so!)
Enjoy drinks and light appetizers from Granite City, as well as other delicious snacks. Take a tour of the Storey Kenworthy showroom and learn more about their products and supplies. (Trust us, you'll be amazed!)
Storey Kenworthy has pulled out all the stops when it comes to door prizes and other freebies! Everyone who comes to the event will receive an awesome tote bag containing a journal and white board. There will also be drawings! We'll be giving away Visa gift cards, laminators, pencil sharpeners, flexible classroom seating, and other amazing items, all courtesy of Storey Kenworthy and their generous vendors. Plus, you'll have a chance to win an HP PageWide Pro 477dw Multifunction Printer for your school. (Yep, a color printer!)
This event is FREE to K-12 educators in area public and parochial schools. Please bring your school ID because we'll ask to see it at the door. (Also, alcohol will be served, so please don't bring the kiddos. Or the spouse... unless your spouse is also a K-12 teacher, in which case, we'd love to see them!)
Parking is available in the Storey Kenworthy lot, as well as in the neighboring Boyson Dental and Iowa EyeCare lots. You may also park along N 15th Avenue.

The Teacher Store is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to support our communities by providing free classroom materials and supplies to area K-12 educators and their students. Supplies that are typically stocked include pencils, pens, colored pencils, glue sticks, markers, dry-erase markers, rulers, paper, antibacterial wipes, facial tissues, paper towels, hand sanitizer, apparel (youth sizes), and calculators.
Now on wheels, the Teacher Store can bring supplies directly to your school. This new mobility also allows us to extend our reach to surrounding counties, making it easier for teachers in outlying areas to benefit from the free supplies. At www.teacherstore.org, you can easily request school visits. You'll also be able to stay up-to-date on other Teacher Store events.
Our in-house currency (aka Teacher Bucks) are used to “buy” items at the store. You can earn Teacher Bucks by requesting a school visit, attending our community events, and in other ways found on our website.
The Teacher Store relies on donations from generous individuals and companies, as well as grant funding, to keep the wheels turning. We accept donations of new supplies, as well as monetary donations that allow us to purchase additional inventory.
